( because he's never done this before, the christmas present for lilias comes late. it was a hurried pick, an embarrassing one he needed assistance with. the woman working the stall the scarf was purchased at recommended it when his request for something "for a lady" was misinterpreted as something romantic.
so, with nothing else to give her at the last minute, kaladin dumps the scarf at her door. placed on top of the bundle is a qr code that takes lilias to a message that reads: )
